White Fir (Abies concolor) 'Archer's Dwarf' is a very attractive dwarf conifer with silvery-blue needles that turn upright. 'Archer's Dwarf' is a very slow grower, and will only grow about 4-6" a year once established and assume a pyramidal form. Dwarf conifers are a unique plant to set your garden bed apart and add pops of evergreen winter interest to the front or middle of beds! Use in garden beds and borders, Japanese style gardens, speciality conifer plantings, or at the edge of woodland or shade plantings. 'Archer's Dwarf' does not thrive in exposed, windy sites and will perform best when given some protection by buildings or taller trees or windbreaks.
