Single Leaf Pinyon (Pinus monophylla) 'Blue Jazz' is one of the showiest dwarf pines available, featuring a tight globe shape and intense blue needle color. With its high tolerance to drought, cold, and poor soils, 'Blue Jazz' is sure to be a standout addition to any water-wise landscape. Plant in xeric garden beds and borders, rock gardens, or Mediterranean style garden beds. For best results, plant in sandy or loam soil with good drainage and be careful not to overwater.

Irrigation Requirement: Very Low (Water to Establish) or Low (1/2" every 10-14 days). Make sure soil is very well-draining if giving supplemental water on an automatic system after establishment. Otherwise, only manually water if the year has been extremely dry, once every several weeks. During a regular year of snow and rainfall, no supplemental water should be necessary.
