Salina Wildrye (Salina Wildrye) 'Salane', also known as Junior Basin Wildrye, is a selected form of the beautiful Salina Wildrye grass. Its slender, blue-green blades form tidy clumps that hold their shape well through the growing season, then transition to soft golden tones that persist into winter. Upright flowering stems rise above the foliage in early summer, giving the plant a light, airy presence that pairs beautifully with both flowering perennials and other native grasses. Use Salina Wildrye in dry garden beds and borders, prairie style gardens, naturalistic plantings, and restoration plantings.
