Ponderosa Pine (Pinus ponderosa) 'Marguerite' is a dwarf conifer selection of the native Ponderosa Pine that was found in Wyoming. 'Marguerite' (also referred to as 'Margarette' or 'Margaret') features a beautiful green to blue-green needle color and a very nice, tight form that only grows 1-3" a year. Use 'Marguerite' to add unique, year-round interest to garden beds and borders, rock gardens, Japanese style gardens, or the sunny area just outside of woodland or shade gardens. For best results, plant in sandy or loam soil with good drainage.
