Narrowleaf Penstemon (Penstemon angustifolius) is a striking native penstemon for Utah landscapes! In late spring, blooms appear that can range from sky-blue to lavender to pink, sometimes with multiple colors appearing on the same plant! It is also known for its strong, upright form and slender, silvery foliage that remains attractive all season. Highly drought-tolerant, it thrives in full sun and sandy or rocky soils, making it ideal for dry garden beds and borders, pollinator plantings, rock gardens, slopes, and prairie plantings.
