Link Trail Columbine (Aquilegia flavescens var. rubicunda) is a stunning, rare native perennial that brings color and charm to part-shade gardens. Its nodding flowers feature warm cream to yellow petals accented by rosy-pink to reddish sepals, creating a striking two-toned display that blooms from late spring into early summer. Delicate, blue-green fern-like foliage provides attractive texture throughout the growing season, while the nectar-rich blossoms are irresistible to hummingbirds, native bees, and butterflies. This rare columbine is endemic to the mountains of central Utah in Emery and Sevier Counties where it can be found growing around cliff edge seeps. Makes an excellent and unusual addition to crevice gardens!
