Hooker's Sandwort (Eremogone hookeri) is an absolutely charming native plant perfect that is sure to delight! Delicate in appearance but remarkably resilient, Hooker's Sandwort features low, tufted mounds of slender, evergreen grass-like leaves that create a soft green cushion. This low mound stays tidy through the growing season, while late spring and early summer brings a constellation of small white star-shaped flowers held lightly above the foliage. Hooker's Sandwort makes a lovely addition to dry garden beds and borders, rock gardens, Mediterranean plantings, crevices, the edges of walkways and paths, and naturalistic plantings where its attractive evergreen form and airy flowers can be enjoyed.
