Blue Grama (Bouteloua gracilis) 'Honeycomb' features a fuller and more dense growing habit, with honey-colored blooms that cock at an angle. This cultivar is the toughest of the blue grama varietes and features less blade dieback. Use in borders and gardens of all styles, prairie plantings, containers, or cut flower growing to add texture and interest to floral arrangements. This plant is extremely drought tolerant, but will look its best when given a low schedule of supplemental irrigation. 'Honeycomb' is tolerant of urban pollution and suitable for city environments.
